LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — One person is dead following a camper fire in north Lincoln on Friday.

Around 2 p.m., several first responders were sent to the area of 27th and Theresa streets.

According to Lincoln Fire & Rescue, while the initial engine crew was working to control the flames, firefighters found a person inside who was dead.

The fire inspector and the Lincoln Police Department are currently investigating on scene.
