A downtown London restaurant and pub are for sale.
Marienbad, the Carling Street old-world eatery, and Chaucer’s Pub are on the market as owner Jerry Pribil wants to take a step back from the restaurant business and focus on his work as a city councillor.

“When it’s sold, I will have freedom but it will give me watery eyes, big time. I have so many memories here,” Pribil said. “This place is close to my heart.”
Pribil is asking $3.5 million for the 11,000-square-foot building that features three floors in a stately yellow brick building in the core that dates to 1854. The upper floors include banquet rooms and apartments.
Pribil, 58, is city councillor for London’s Ward 5. He says he wants the new owner to keep the building intact and re-use it to support business
