A driver veered his vehicle into a Washington State Patrol trooper’s car Thursday near Washougal, damaging both cars.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office responded to a traffic accident at 12:57 p.m. Thursday at 1900 S.E. Blair Road, just off Washougal River Road, according to 911 dispatch logs.

The crash didn’t cause serious injuries, Sgt. Christopher Nicholls told The Columbian on Friday.

Nicholls could not confirm the extent of the damage to the vehicles and said no ambulance was called to the scene of the crash. He said the driver was cited for driving with a suspended license. Tags East County: Camas & Washougal Washington State Patrol
