1Man and woman found shot after crash die in Central District double homicide
Baltimore, MD – A man and a woman were found shot after a crash early Wednesday morning in East Baltimore and later died at the hospital, prompting a homicide investigation by Central District detectives.
Just before 7 a.m., patrol officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 1000 block of East Monument Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the shooting victims had actually been found at the scene of a crash several blocks away in the 700 block of Ensor Street.
Emergency responders located an unidentified man and a 28-year-old woman inside the vehicle. Both were suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Medics rushed them to a nearby hospital, where they were pronounced dead a short time later.
