OKATIE, S.C. (WTOC) - The food has settled from Thanksgiving, and families are now starting to kick off some of their Christmas traditions across the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry.
One of those involves finding a tree.
WTOC caught up with some of those families in search of just the right tree on Friday at A & A Christmas Tree s in Okatie.
One of the big traditions for many families after the Thanksgiving holiday is picking out a Christmas tree to display at their home throughout December.
Some like to pick one out at the grocery store or pull it out of the attic, while others make it an annual tradition to go and cut down their own.
For Audrey and her family, they have made it a tradition to visit A & A Christmas Trees, but in all those years, Audrey has never cut down her own tree
