Drug possession: Forestview Avenue

An officer stopped a car at 11 p.m. on Nov. 2 on Forestview Avenue after suspecting that the owner/operator of the car had a suspended driver’s license.

The driver, a 29-year-old from Cleveland, also admitted to having mushrooms in the car.

During a search of the vehicle, officers located a plastic bag containing a large quantity of suspected psilocybin mushrooms, also known as “magic mushrooms,” according to a police department statement.

An officer arrested the driver for drug possession and driving on a suspended license. He was booked into the Rocky River jail, and his vehicle was impounded.
