A report from the National Weather Service was issued on Friday at 5:28 p.m. for snow showers until Saturday at midnight for Westmoreland Ridges, Fayette Ridges and Higher Elevations of Indiana as well as Lawrence, Butler, Clarion, Jefferson, Beaver, Allegheny, Armstrong, Washington, Greene, Westmoreland, Fayette and Indiana counties.
"Widely scattered snow showers will continue across portions of far eastern Ohio through western Pennsylvania tonight, though tapering off towards midnight. While snowfall amounts are expected to be light, enough melting of the snow on area roadways combined with falling temperature may will result in icy spots.
