JONESBORO, Ark. — North Dakota State saw its five-game winning streak snapped Friday in a 85-80 overtime loss to Arkansas State in nonconference Division I men's basketball.

Damari Wheeler-Thomas had a game-high 28 points for NDSU (5-2, 0-0 Summit), which hadn't lost since an 80-68 decision at UC Davis on Nov. 5.

Trevian Carson's 3-point shot put the Bison ahead 70-68 with 40 seconds remaining in regulation. After Chandler Jackson's layup tied the game for the Red Wolves with 24 seconds to play, NDSU's Noah Feddersen missed a 3-point attempt at the buzzer.
