Residents in Shropshire have been warned of possible flooding in three areas following the Met Office's weather warning for the West Midlands.

The yellow rain warning will be in place in the region from 6am to midnight on Saturday (November 29).

The warning reads: “Heavy rain may cause travel disruption and flooding this weekend. Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer. Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer, with a chance of cancellations where flooding occurs.

"There is a chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings. There is a small chance that some communities will become cut off by flooded roads. There is a slight chance of power cuts and loss of other services to some homes and bus
