Those of us who celebrate Christmas are probably counting down the days to the big holiday.

We’ll also soon — if we haven’t already — be putting up Christmas trees in our homes.

But we had a dry summer this year, with much of Canada experiencing drought conditions, so will there be enough real Christmas trees for everyone?

The good news is no shortages are expected this year.

“There are trees out there. We have enough trees for everyone,” said Shirley Brennan, executive director of Christmas Tree Farmers of Ontario , a non-profit organization funded by growers to offer information to consumers and growers.
