DICKINSON — With another wave of snow expected overnight, the North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP) is urging drivers to move with care on roadways, especially around snowplows. Not one, but two North Dakota Department of Transportation snowplows were struck by motorists earlier today.

Both incidents occurred in the southwest region of the state.

According to NDHP, both motorists drove into snow fog created by the active snowplows. Along with publishing several photos of the damage, NDHP recommended that drivers slow down significantly when observing snow fog and remember that the snowplow may be completely hidden from view.
