Why Eagles went for 2-point conversion down 9 to Bears

The Philadelphia Eagles left a lot of people confused on Friday night.

The Eagles trailed the Chicago Bears by 15 points on Black Friday when Jalen Hurts hit A.J. Brown for a touchdown.

That pulled the Eagles within 9, point after pending, 3:10 to play.

The Eagles went for 2, and they threw incomplete, and they stayed down 9.

Rather than being down 8, which is commonly called a "one-score game," they remained down 9, a "two-score game."

It actually made some sense, even if the result didn't work out.
