CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - Holiday shopping might look different for some families this year.
According to Lending Tree , an online loan marketplace, tariffs are set to cost shoppers throughout the country more than $28 billion.
A mix of Black Friday deals and wanting to beat the incoming snow storm brought people like Vivian Eichinger out to the Lindale Mall in Cedar Rapids.
“I always come here, I do love to Christmas shop so that’s what I’m looking for,” Eichinger said.
She and others came to Handmade Holiday, a seasonal shop with 35 local vendors. Many shoppers come in to get ideas for the people on their lists.
“This you’re not gonna find online necessarily,” said Charlotte Nerney. “It helps me get in the holiday mood seeing everyone else Christmas shopping wearing their holida
