The Boston Celtics, winners of five of their past six games, are on a roll. As was expected to be the case entering the season, Jaylen Brown and Derrick White have typically been the barometers for whether or not the Celtics are winning games.
As the new focal points of Boston’s offense, Brown and White have had more responsibilities than ever before this season. Brown has excelled so far (28.2 PPG, 5.8 RPG, 4.3 APG, 49.5%), while White appears to be finding his way after a slow start (16 PPG, 5.1 APG, 4.2 RPG, 36.2%).
It has certainly helped that the C’s have had Brown and White available for all 18 games so far this season, but that may change on Saturday. That’s because both guys were added to the injury report on Friday, with Brown questionable due to low back spasms and White
