ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Jesper Wallstedt made 39 saves and had two more in the shootout when the Minnesota Wild ended the Colorado Avalanche's 10-game winning streak with a 3-2 victory at Grand Casino Arena on Friday.
Kirill Kapriozv scored twice, and Mats Zuccarello and Matt Boldy each scored in the shootout for Minnesota (14-7-4) which extended its winning streak to seven games and have points in 10 straight (9-0-1).
Nathan MacKinnon had a goal and an assist, and Gabriel Landeskog scored for Colorado (17-1-6) which extended its point streak to 15 games (12-0-3). Scott Wedgewood made 35 saves.
MacKinnon gave the Avalanche a 1-0 lead at 15:54 of the first period after Artturi Lehkonen stole the puck from Kaprizov along the wall and passed to MacKinnon alone in the slot.
