At Found House Interfaith Housing Network, Garrett Parsons and his team give compassion, care and around-the-clock love for pets like Blitzo.

Blitzo was staying at Found House through the Pet Support Program, which provides temporary shelter for animals while their owners are unable to care for them. A program like this means the world to his owners, who view Blitzo as another family member. Advertisement

"Some situations came up to where we had to live in the car," said Robyn Moore, a Found House client.

Moore, her wife and her two kids fell on hard times last winter.

"We actually went to the shelter to try to surrender him because we didn't know what else to do. That's when we found out about Garrett and what they do," Moore said.
