CENTER, Mo. -- Numbers and hopes are up for Mark Twain boys basketball as it enters the 2025-26 season.
Tigers head coach Kaelin Kendrick-O'Bryan is entering his second season with the program with many of Mark Twain's players getting their first taste of varsity action last year.
"We kind of became a younger team midway through the season," said Kendrick-O'Bryan. "We had some younger guys, some freshman and a couple of sophomores, that had opportunities to play on varsity. I think they learned a lot. They learned through a lot of mistakes because we threw those guys into the fire, but overall it was a good experience for them."
With that inexperience, there were some growing pains throughout the season.
"Our chemistry wasn't as good (early on) as it was at the end of the year," said M
