Leo Carlsson scored the game-tying goal with 1:31 remaining in the third period and Troy Terry and Mason McTavish converted in the shootout, lifting the host Anaheim Ducks to a 5-4 victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Friday.
Terry tucked the puck between the pads of Darcy Kurmper in the shootout and McTavish also tallied for the Ducks, who concluded a six-game homestand with a 4-2-0 record.
Anaheim's Ville Husso was perfect in shootout and finished with 23 saves in his first NHL game this season. Husso was recalled from San Diego of the American Hockey League on Wednesday with fellow goaltender Lukas Dostal set to miss two-to-three weeks due to an upper-body injury.
Carlsson, who converted from the doorstep on the tying goal, also notched two assists.
