Members and guests of the Colton Woman’s Club recently gathered to celebrate the club’s 125th anniversary.

The Oct. 25 event included a luncheon at the clubhouse, presentation of certificates commemorating the club’s achievements and a “Fashion Through the Decades” show with outfits representing each decade of the club’s history.

Guests attending included Colton City Councilmembers John Echeverria, Kelly Chastain and Luis Gonzalez, also known as Dr. G; and Daphne Lezo Duran, a district representative for state Sen. Eloise Gomez Reyes, who presented the club a California Senate resolution signed by Reyes, according to a news release from the club.

Colton Mayor Frank Navarro and Joe Baca Jr., San Bernardino County 5th District supervisor, also sent congratulatory messages. Christina Gaita
