Assuming Tulane takes care of Charlotte on Saturday night, the two hottest teams in the American will meet for the conference title at Yulman Stadium next Friday. North Texas, a winner of six in a row, likely will be favored because of its offensive firepower. Tulane, which is perfect in November, has the better roster despite the repeated statements by the announcers during Thursday’s Memphis-Navy game that Memphis and South Florida were the two most talented teams in the league.

Regardless, it will be a terrific matchup.
