LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A Louisville man was arrested on Wednesday after being accused of causing severe head trauma to a child while changing their diaper, according to Louisville Metro Police.

Arrest documents state that on Tuesday, Oct. 14, a child was taken to a Norton Immediate Care Center with severe injuries. Staff then called 911 to transport the victim to Norton Children’s Hospital due to the child being in critical condition.

Medical assessments determined that the victim’s injuries were consistent with pediatric abusive head trauma.
