Romeo opened up the Keith Knight Showcase Friday afternoon against another school that is in the midst of a rebuilding campaign. The Bulldogs fought back from a 2-1 deficit early in the second period to down Jenison 7-3 Friday at Suburban Ice Macomb in the first round of the Keith Knight Showcase.

The two-day event is named after former Romeo coach Keith Knight, who passed away in 2021. The Bulldogs will face Dearborn Divine Child in Saturday’s second round.

The win helped lift Romeo snap a two-game losing streak and move back over the five-hundred mark. The victory also helped the team to a 16-13 scoring edge this season.
