It was cold outside The Daily Bread Community Kitchen’s dining room on Thanksgiving, but the warm food made by the love of volunteers, donors and others in the community helped to deliver a thankful message Thursday during The Daily Bread’s 32nd Thanksgiving Meal.
A total of 637 hot meals were provided to the hungry and less fortunate at The Daily Bread on Thanksgiving Day. By the numbers, 404 meals were delivered into the community while 233 people enjoyed a warm Thanksgiving meal in the dining room.
Since 1993, the kitchen, founded by Hobe and Sue Williams, has provided Thanksgiving meals for the homeless in the community.
