AUSTIN, Texas — The Lonestar Showdown is back and the first half featured a defensive battle with points at a premium in the first game between the Aggies and the Longhorns in Austin in 15 years.
The Aggies scored the only touchdown of the half on an end around to receiver K.C. Concepcion that covered 8 yards, putting the Aggies on top 10-3 with less than a minute left in the first half. And that score held until the break.
A win for the Aggies would clinch a berth in the SEC championship game, while the Longhorns are trying to claw their way back into the College Football Playoff conversation. The Aggies have all but cemented their spot in the CFB with an 11-0 start to the season.
