CONCORD, N.H. —
New Hampshire State Police Troopers responded to dozens of crashes on state roadways Friday.
State police Lt. Erwin Malilay told News 9 that between 6 a.m. and 7:45 p.m. Friday, Troopers had responded to at least 74 calls for service for crashes or vehicles off the roadway.
Malilay said that most incidents were due to unpredictable road conditions, with snow squalls and icy roads.
Officials have confirmed several crashes in Candia as well as some on I-89.
Malilay says drivers should plan ahead and make sure they have extra time to get to their destinations as wintry conditions begin to impact the roads.
