CHINA GROVE — The Carson junior trio of Caden “CP” Perry, Drew Neve and Jacob Mills entered the 2025-26 season with a combined 2,207 points in the scorebook as Cougars, and all three have produced 30-point games.
That’s an extraordinary amount of returning firepower, so it’s not surprising that Carson is being hyped as one of the teams to watch in 5A.
Carson had the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth-leading scorers in Rowan County in 2024-25. The only one missing from that group is guard Jonah Drye, who graduated with 992 career points.
Mills (16.2 per game), Perry (15.8) and Neve (13.9) give the Cougars three of the top four returning scorers in the county.
