Dame Judi Dench ‘s vision is continuing to worsen.

The 90-year-old actress first started opening up about her eyesight deteriorating back in 2021, and has provided a few updates here and there.

Now, the famed Oscar winner has revealed the latest, where she can’t recognize faces anymore.

While speaking with ITV with longtime friend Ian McKellen , she shared that she “can’t see anymore” and can’t watch TV or read.

“You don’t [see me on camera anymore] because I can’t see,” she said. “I’ve got, you know, that thing.”

Back in 2023, she previously said she couldn’t read scripts anymore and hasn’t been seen on screen since the holiday movie musical Spirited in 2022. Last year, she suggested she’s retired from acting due to her vision loss.
