Hundreds of people came out Friday night to Ross's Landing in Downtown Chattanooga for the 45th Annual Reindeer on the Riverfront. It's an iconic Christmas tradition for the Scenic City, as people put away the pumpkins and fall decor and replace them with a bright, shiny Christmas tree.
"This has been a long-standing tradition. People who have been coming to this tell me that they’ve been coming to this with their children for 30 years. So, it’s something that they mark on their calendar every single year," said Dawn Hjelseth, the Vice President of Marketing and Communication with River City Company.
Some of the people Local 3 News spoke with said this was their very first time experiencing the Christmas magic at the Riverfront and are already looking forward to next year.
