Two runaway cows are back home at an Atlantic County Farm after spending three days on the run before being captured Friday.
“Both girls are home safe and sound,” said Mandi Craig, who owns Little Rascals Farm in Egg Harbor Township with her husband, Ian.
She noted one of the cows had to be wrangled “rodeo style.”
The couple recently bought 3-year-old Maggie, a cream-colored cow with horns, and 9-month-old Darla, a small black cow, to add to their farm. However, the homecoming didn’t go exactly as planned.
Darla and Maggie had just been delivered to their new home at Little Rascals Farm on Tuesday when they made their great escape, Craig wrote on a Facebook post.
