CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. (WSMV) - A woman was hit and killed by a truck while lying in a field Friday afternoon, according to WKDZ Radio.

The incident happened in a field in the 12000 block of Pilot Rock Road in Christian County.

Christian County sheriff’s deputies told WKDZ that 72-year-old Sheila Faughn was lying on the ground when a truck driving through the field hit her.

Faughn was reportedly having a mental health crisis before lying on the ground, WKDZ said.

Deputies told WKDZ the truck driver was reportedly looking for Faughn in the field when the incident occurred.
