CLAYTON, N.C. (WTVD) -- Clayton police are investigating the death of a juvenile after a disturbance on Commodore Street.

Around 7 p.m., our ABC11 crew saw police, Johnston County sheriff's deputies, and highway patrol at the scene.

Clayton Police Chief Greg Tart said a young person was shot and killed and the investigation remains active.

The age of the juvenile has not been released at this time.
