Wales is set for huge downpours of rain on Saturday with multiple weather warnings issued by the Met Office. The country has been told to prepare for possible flooding, power cuts and travel disruption.

A yellow weather warning for a huge section of Wales started at 6am on Saturday and ends at midnight.

But a second weather warning has also been issued for Monday, starting at midnight and ending at 3pm.

On Saturday weather maps show the worst affected areas include: Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Cardiff, Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Merthyr Tydfil, Monmouthshire, Neath Port Talbot, Newport, Pembrokeshire, Powys, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Swansea, Torfaen and Vale of Glamorgan.
