WEST MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Nationwide, 54% of shoppers are saying they plan to shop on Small Business Saturday and 65% says they are actively seeking out small businesses according to the latest survey for LendingTree.

Liz Sanders, Owner of Modern Vintage, says she encouraged by those numbers and wants to emphasize the importance of supporting local businesses.

“In here, with all the different vendors, it allows you to support several small businesses, not just, one, but you’re supporting, 15 different small businesses inside here, which allows us to give back, to the community,” Sanders said.

One regular shopper of Sander’s shop in Coleen Stewart who says she makes it a priority to shop at not just Modern Vintage, but other local shops too.
