For years now, movie theater chains have offered some form of a membership program for moviegoers to see up to one, 16 or even unlimited films a month on the big screen.
But which one gets you the best bang for your buck?
The answer really depends on what you're looking for, whether that be prioritizing saving on concessions or seeing as many new movies as you can in a month.
To determine how many movies you need to see to earn back your money, the Get the Facts Data Team ran the math on movie ticket and movie membership price data from the three large movie theater companies in the U.S. — AMC, Regal and Cinemark.
