ADRIAN, Mich. — As temperatures drop and snow begins to fall, staff at Brookdale Adrian are working to make sure winter doesn’t mean slowing down for their residents.
The assisted living facility is increasing activities and social events to help residents stay engaged throughout the colder months.
Brookdale Adrian staff members say that while winter can limit outdoor options, they’re committed to keeping residents active with creative indoor programming. From cornhole and board games to performances by local musicians, the goal is to maintain a lively and social atmosphere, even during Michigan’s snowy season.
“This is their home and we want to make sure that it’s well maintained,” said Elijah Letson, the facility’s resident program manager.
