In a new release from Kingston Police on Friday, a pedestrian was rushed to hospital with serious injuries following a hit-and-run on Centennial Drive between Taylor Kidd Boulevard and Davis Drive.

According to police, the pedestrian was taken to the hospital, where they are being treated for their injuries.

That portion of Centennial Drive will remain closed, and traffic will be detoured until the investigation is completed.
