After looking rough when he was thrust into the fire for an injured Dillon Gabriel, Cleveland Browns quarterback Sheduer Sanders earned himself another opportunity to start after beating the Las Vegas Raiders in his first-career NFL start.

Sanders completed 11-of-20 passes for 209 yards with a touchdown and an interception to give the Browns their first win since Week 7. While he was helped by 10 sacks from his defense, he held his own against a down-trodden Las Vegas Raiders defense.

He’ll get a much stiffer test against a 49ers defense that held the Carolina Panthers to just nine points despite Brock Purdy throwing three first-half interceptions, but with the Browns 3-8, they might as well see what Sanders has the rest of the way.
