MONROE, Wis. (WKOW) – As Monroe's historic Courthouse Square gears up for Small Business Saturday, local shops are gearing up with preparations. Many of these businesses are family-owned and have been serving the community for decades.
"It's that small town vibe that's perfect for the holiday season," said a local shop owner.
Kevin Kaisal, the owner of Sunrise Donuts Cafe, expressed his joy in seeing his shop become a gathering place for people each year.
"Seeing all the families, people from out of town, coming in to grab a coffee, just so special to see the store full of people," said Kevin.
