At 12:59 a.m. on Saturday, the National Weather Service issued a special weather statement until 4 a.m. for Warren, McKean, Potter, Elk, Cameron and Tioga counties.
"Widely scattered snow showers will continue across central Pennsylvania overnight. While snowfall amounts are expected to be light, subfreezing temperatures may result in icy spots. Untreated bridges and ramps are often the first surfaces to ice up. Anyone traveling overnight should be alert for a wide range of conditions and slow down in adverse weather conditions," adds the weather service.
