PEORIA ( 25News Now ) - Peoria’s Northwoods Mall saw large crowds on the shopping center’s 51st Black Friday.
The mall’s general manager says the mall exceeded expectations, with shoppers checking out new stores like Artworks of Nature, Q-Tones Music, and a handmade leather shop for those looking for unique holiday gifts.
Along with Black Friday doorbusters, Coach Bre and her dance team performed, and kids could get their pictures taken with Santa.
The mall’s message is that people in Peoria still want that personal touch to gift buying.
“People should come in person to shop,” said Julie Revallo, the mall’s GM.
