MIllions of pensioners are starting to see Winter Fuel Payments land into their bank accounts. The financial help is given to older people to help cover the cost of energy bills in the colder weather .

According to the government it will be paid to millions of over-65s during November and December. Until last year the money was paid to all pensioners.
