The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory at 12:49 a.m. on Saturday valid from Sunday 1 a.m. until Monday 1 a.m. for Lewis County.
"Total snow accumulations between 4 to 8 inches," can be expected according to the weather service. "Snow will develop late Saturday night and continue through Sunday evening."
"Travel could be hazardous due to snow covered roadways and reduced visibility," states the weather service. "Periods of snow will result in snow covered roads and limited visibilities. Slow down and use caution while driving."
