The Lethbridge Hurricanes put in a strong effort on home ice on Friday night as they doubled up the Moose Jaw Warriors 6-3 at VisitLethbridge.com Arena.
“I’m just happy to see our team produce some offence and have some fun off the rush,” said Ryan Aasman, Canes assistant coach to Dustin Forbes of 106.7 Rock.
The Warriors opened the scoring when Ethan Semeniuk deked to the backhand and slid the puck passed Koen Cleaver 9:36 into the first period on the powerplay from Landen McFadden and Pavel Mckenzie.
Lethbridge tied the game over three minutes later when Kade Duell tapped in a shot at the top of the crease to finish off a nice passing play with Hudson Kibblewhite and Luke Cozens.
