FRISCO—For the second week in a row, Highland Park found themselves operating from the home sideline at The Star against a Frisco ISD football team. Friday evening’s regional semifinal saw a Wakeland team that put together the most successful regular season in program history as the designated away team.
The Wolverines put together a strong 20-point third quarter but after a second-quarter explosion, Highland Park grabbed the lead in dramatic fashion and never let go, downing Wakeland with a final score of 47-20.
