SPOKANE, Wash. - The Humane Evacuation Animal Rescue Team is a dedicated, all-volunteer nonprofit committed to animal sheltering and emergency assistance.

The team rescues animals and manages emergency shelters, stepping in during times of distress to provide crucial help.

Outside of emergencies, the organization focuses on animal welfare, offering support when pet owners become unable to care for their animals due to age or other circumstances.

Currently, two horses are being cared for by the rescue team. Debbie, a gentle and sweet horse, is in her mid to late 20s. Angel, younger and lively, is in her late teens to early 20s.

The Humane Evacuation Animal Rescue Team continues to support and protect animals in need, ensuring they receive the care they deserve.
