Quandre “Dre” Bullock and Gytis Nemeiksa each scored 15 points to power the Hawaii basketball team to a 92-55 rout of North Dakota tonight at Bankoh Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.

A crowd of 2,360 saw the Rainbow Warriors dominate all phases to improve to 6-2 overall ahead of Thursday’s Big West opener against UC Davis. The Fighting Hawks fell to 3-6.

The Fighting Hawks entered averaging 77.1 points on 44.1% shooting. Three of their players hit at least 39% of their 3s. But the Fighting Hawks had difficulty finding elbow room against what the ’Bows’ term as “the wall,” a defensive scheme that challenges drives and open looks. The Fighting Hawks’ output was their lowest of the season. They missed 16 of 20 3-point shots, including all seven in the second half, and misfired on 13 of 23 layup
