USPS to host Conway

job fair for rural role

The United States Postal Service is hosting a job fair in Conway on Wednesday to highlight positions at the service and to help with the application process, the mail carrier said Friday.

The fair will be held at the Conway Post Office at 1060 Hogan Lane. At the event, attendees will learn about the Rural Carrier Associate role, a mail carrier who delivers mail to rural and suburban areas. The position starts at $20.85 per hour. Arkansas' minimum wage is $11 per hour.

Positions are available in Conway, Clinton, Greenbrier, Mabelvale, Quitman and Shirley. Applicants must have a valid Arkansas driver's license and demonstrate and maintain a safe driving record, according to a news release.
