Aldi issues alert as chocolate snack could pose 'health risk' View 2 Images

Aldi has issued a recall over a festive chocolate product. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) said the supermarket was "taking the precautionary step of recalling Dairyfine Salted Caramel Filled Gonks because it may contain peanuts which are not mentioned on the label".

The FSA said this meane the product was "a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to peanuts".

The affected product is Dairyfine Salted Caramel Filled Gonks with a pack size of 90g and a batch code of 4061463276865. All best-before dates are included in the recall.
