A hotel and marina situated on the banks of Loch Lomond has been acquired by an expanding company based in the north-west of England.

The resort has been taken over by Preston-based Harrison Holidays, following the decision of the previous owners to sell up to retire.

The English firm has been supported in its acquisition of the Ardlui Hotel, Marina and Holiday Park, situated on the northern shore of Loch Lomond, by a £7 million funding package from HSBC UK. Spread over 11 acres, the estate comprises a 12-bedroom hotel, a marina, and a caravan park licensed for 96 units.
