District Attorney: Thompson claims self

BELMONT — A Florida man accused of murdering his two brothers at an Allegany County hunting cabin is claiming he was acting in self defense, said District Attorney Ian Jones.

“Ultimately the three brothers got into a disagreement over what appears to be a long-standing feud,” he said. “ ... The reports I have didn’t specify, but there were family issues between the three of them. They were trying to work things out.”
